Feel like it’s been too long since you’ve seen a genuine chase scene with cool cars? Obviously the guys over at Hot Rod thought so, too! Hot Rod magazine released a really cool YouTube video in anticipation of their cover story for next month’s magazine issue. The article sounds like one of those kinds of arguments we’d have in junior high school…”Who’d win in a race? General Lee or the Bandit Trans Am?” It seems they intend to answer that age old question.
Hot Rod’s chase scene is actually done quite professionally, too, which I almost find surprising with all the low-quality “crap” that’s floating around on YouTube these days. If only Hot Rod Magazine had the time and money to spawn some sort of cheesy 80′s throwback, hodgepodge car movie! I for one can’t wait to see what conclusion Hot Rod comes to in their upcoming issue, but I have to admit, I’m partial to the Bandit Trans Am.
